Reunion Weekend
July 5-7, 2024

  • Reconnect

Welcome back to Sugarbush Soaring! Whether you’re a former line crew, camper, or youth member, you are invited to join us for our first reunion weekend. Reconnect with old friends and make some new ones, take a scenic ride or a lesson with your favorite instructor, relive your time at the airfield and enjoy the beauty of central Vermont. We’ve got a weekend planned that is equal parts exciting and chill. Bring your partner, family or friends and join us for an unforgettable weekend!

  • Soar

Has it been a while since you’ve been soaring? Whether you’ve gone on to a career in aviation or haven’t flown since your time at Sugarbush, here’s your opportunity to get back in a glider! We are offering scenic glider rides and instruction all weekend long. Reservations are required and time slots will fill up quickly so please indicate your preference when you RSVP and we’ll contact you to confirm your booking and the associated costs.

  • Enjoy the MRV

Independence Day weekend in the Mad River Valley is not to be missed! Take in Warren’s famous 4th of July parade and watch the fireworks over the Sugarbush ski resort. Swim in Blueberry Lake, enjoy a meal at the Mad Taco, go mountain biking, hike the Vermont Trail or just float in the Mad River. When you’re not flying, there are myriad things to do right on our doorstep.

  • Accommodation

Free camping is available on the field and there are full bathrooms with showers in the tower building. If camping isn’t your style, we are happy to pair you with a host club member for the weekend, or you can find a list of local accommodations on the MRV Chamber of Commerce website.

  • Meals

Just like at camp, we’re keeping it simple. You can expect a pizza party on Friday night, sandwiches made to order for lunch on Saturday and a BBQ with Club members on Saturday night. Pancakes or bacon and eggs (including Ginny’s egg sandwiches) will be on offer for breakfast each morning. It’s simple but hearty fare that won’t cost you a fortune; in fact, the whole weekend’s meals will set you back you less than $60!
